Circa 1780-90s French blockprinted panel originally part ofa daybed cover.Patterned butterflies are set amongst draped pretty lace swags and meandering leafy branched on a deep madder ground.Quilted and backed in a heavey hemp cloth.In an as found antique and unlaundered condition with mildew marks at the top left part on the reverse, some small holes here and there but in an overall good condition.The top width is 100cm wide and at the bottom 126cm wide.
