19th century French printed cotton panel with twisting and turning heart shaped leaves decorated with boteh (paisley motifs) on a Turkey red ground.
Originally a top layer on a quilt so showing old stitch mark traces and uneveness in the appearance of the cloth.A joined seam across the middle with the print then going the opposite way

Some small holes and wear and tear at one end.
