Circa 1780-90s French wool embroidered linen quilt from Provençe with deep side borders of chain stitched pink and fawn brown wool flowers on meandering branches with unfurling green leaves.


The center with scattered flower heads in pink and soft browns and reds.


In an as found antique and unlaundered condition but in overall good order.


Fresh looking but the white ground is not absolutely pristine.The side border approx 30cm deep.
