A glorious deeply carved chest of drawers from the Netherlands, late 18th century of Ash and Oak construction, the beautiful serpentine drawers with detailed cast ormolu mounts and deep, intricate carving of mythical dolphins and flowers throughout. Set upon bracket feet with boarded back.


 


Each drawer has a lock by Comyn Ching & Co of England. which were 19th century replacements to the original locks, the key is not present.


 


Historic signs of worm which has been thoroughly treated and old repairs and restorations.
