An incredible Folk Art Vene or Finial, hand forged in France in the late 19th century, the huge sculpture shows a large mother hen surrounded  by her chicks. We believe that this was originally placed on the top of a barn in rural France. A highly unusual and unique piece of French Folk Art.

Height 195.5 cm x Width 102 cm

Hen is 82 cm Width x 84 cm Height x 11 cm Depth

Chicks are each 19 cm Width x 18 cm Height

Base is 34 cm Width at base.
