This truly incredible 1930's iron illuminating sunburst mirror has the most stunning age related patina, over the years the worn gilt, verdigris, rusting and wear have given this huge statement piece a beautiful overall patination, gold in many areas feeds into silvered ends where the gilt has worn away, in other areas there are flashes of green verdigris where the iron has oxidised and in others there are smooth remnants of red rusted surface, these are usually re-gilded to give them an almost new appearance, but we feel that the time worm patina is what makes this exceptional 90 cm Spanish sunburst stand out from the crowd.

It is lit from the back by two e14 (small screw in) gold edison lamp holders, and can be mounted either on a wall or ceiling with the rear hanging hook.
