An 18th Century French Louis XVI Period Mahogany Console Table or Buffet with Marble Top.

Standing on fine toupie feet with ormolu mounts, this table epitomises the elegance of French furniture of the later 18th century. It has an inset white marble top and ormolu gallery and a single narrow drawer in the frieze with lovely drawer handles and ormolu drawer mounts. It has a polished mahogany undertier.
