A Stylish, Late 18th Century French Walnut Side Table.
This beautiful 18th century Louis XVI period table is a very refined piece of furniture. The rectangular overhanging top is nicely figured and finely patinated, the marks from age and use making it all the more attractive. The slim and shaped frieze of the table features what would appear to be a stylised repetitive stiff leaf motif with the collars of each of the front legs featuring turned roundels. The table's legs are also turned with fluted details and simple collared feet.
This is a very elegant piece of French furniture that stands particularly well.
