This is an antique carved cherub figure. An Italian, marble Putto statue in the manner of Pietro Franchi, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Wonderful Grand Tour taste and a jovial sculptural subject

Presents a figure holding a basket of small birds whilst a mischievous cat is held at bay
