This is an antique drawing room elbow chair. An English, mahogany and leather desk seat, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

Distinctive bowed crest rail with gadrooned finish
Shaped back splat with spiral flowerhead motif to centre

Finished with appealing press stud trim to the lower edge
Standing upon turned front legs with gently swept rear legs
