This is an antique headmaster's office bookcase. An English, oak cabinet, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Panel borders decorated with a distinctive carved beading
Small, inset brass lined lock — key absent
Terminating in a continuous plinth base with rakish profile
Raised upon four ebonised, squat bun feet

This is an appealing antique headmaster's office bookcase, with carved flourishes distinguishing the cabinet. Wonderful caramel hues and superb grain interest. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home or office.
