This is an antique tea service. An English, silver plated, hand chased teapot and jug set by John Turton of Sheffield, dating to the late 19th century, circa 1900.

Displaying a desirable aged patina with minimal tarnish
Silver plate shows a clear, bright reflection to the gently polished surface
Comprehensive service with tea urn, teapot, sugar tray and milk jug

Superb hand-chased foliate patterns issuing scrolled motif, spring flowers and vines decorate each piece
Teapot lids dressed with foliate handles, stood prominently above the whole
Graceful c-scroll handles to each, with gentle flourishes adorning the apex
All four pieces standing upon a quartet of leaf decorated feet
John Turton, Sheffield maker's marks to base, all with matching serial number of 0799

This is an eye-catching antique tea service, with delightful hand chased details to the globular forms. Delivered polished and ready to display.
