This is a framed, landscape oil painting by the renowned marine and equine artist David Chambers. 'Onward' is an original, oil on board painting from David’s recent collection.

A wonderful twilight image, capturing St Michael's Mount, Cornwall as its backdrop. A horse-drawn hay-wain is being lead back into shore as a gentle tide laps against the beach underfoot. A cool overall balance comes from the steel blue sky and earthy, wet sand. A typically Cornish gathering of gulls adds the light-hearted element found in many of David's works.
