This is a large antique estate hall cupboard. An English, oak boot and shoe cabinet, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1870.

Superb proportion for the entrance hall with beautiful figuring
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Select oak stocks present fine grain interest and an abundance of medullary rays
Warm caramel hues beam beneath a wax polished finish

Offering a pair of broad field panelled doors of substantial thickness
Opening to wide access to show a large lower shelf with a narrow upper
Dressed to the right hand door with a brass drop handle in gothic revival taste
Oval lock escutcheon with working lock — key present

Can be outfitted with shelves to create a spacious bookcase
