This is a large vintage railway print. An English, framed steam train picture titled 'Preparing for Departure' by Terence Cuneo, dating to the late 20th century.


Terence Cuneo (1907 - 1996) was known for his railway, equine and military works, with a career highlight being chosen as the official artist for the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. He achieved high honours during his later years; Cuneo awarded an OBE in 1987, and for recognition of his personal Royal service as a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) in 1994.
