This is an Oriental side table, a Chinese elm cabinet from the late 20th century.

Dark, russet hues with a wax polished finish
Grain interest and in good order throughout
Raised on well executed, faux bamboo legs

Broad top cleated on all sides, features side overhang
A pair of frieze drawers, dressed with cup pulls, close with a strap lock and tang
Access to a deep, full width recess when removing the upper drawers
