This is a vintage carved spice table. A Far Eastern, mahogany glass topped coffee or lamp table with brass mounts, dating to the late Art Deco period, circa 1940.

Brass foliate tiles with pairs of birds sit deep within a carved frieze

Raised upon turned legs with gently tapering profile over bun feet
