This is a vintage oval serving tray. An English, silver plated afternoon tea platter by Viners of Sheffield, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950.

Strikingly detailed and desirably ornate tray
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Bright silver plate lightly polished to a reflective sheen
Decorated with Viner's distinctive Silver Rose pattern

Shallow tray lip decorated with a chased foliate pattern to the circumference
Demi-lune handles a tactile delight with foliate pattern top and melange finish to reverse
