Wonderful Florentine 18th Century buffet a deux corps cupboard.
This cupboard reflects the baroque style with its imposing proportions and bold style. However, its original contrasting grey and cream paint gives it a pleasing soft presence.
The prominent flared cornice sits above two doors with diamond-shaped panels. The doors are flanked by further panelled sections. Inside are three spacious shelves.
The bottom section offers two shallow drawers. The whole is raised on substantial bracket feet at the front.
This cupboard has stood the test of time for centuries. It has a wonderfully authentic feel and will provide useful storage in today's home.
