Item Details
Pair of 19th century Italian buffets with Carrara marble tops.
These demi lune buffets originate from a Palazzo in Sienna and retain their original paint in lovely warm hues.
Each buffet with one panelled door to the front, opening to reveal shelving.
Carrara marble is quarried in the mountains above Carrara in northern Tuscany. The background and veining of the marble are in shades of grey, as demonstrated on the tops of these buffets
Resting on four wide bun feet, this pair will bring a light and characterful presence to a space and blend easily with other furnishings.
