Item Details

Beautiful French Art Deco butcher's block with all the grace and symmetry of the 1920s.
Made from Hornbeam which is a strong fair hardwood used particularly for chopping blocks and boards although ironically the leaves of the Hornbeam can be used to stop bleeding and heal wounds.
A well-used piece with two huge drawers each with a large metal stirrup handle.
