A magnificent solid oak library writing table, circa 1880. In excellent showroom condition, smothered in detailed carvings and lion masks.

The table top has a gadrooned edge with a newly fitted black leather inset writing surface and gold tooled edging.This sits above the beautifully carved frieze which has 3 drawers along the front of full depth offering loads of storage. Finished/carved all around so it can be freestanding in a room.

There is a painted shield on each of the 4 sides.

On large fluted chunky oak column legs with acanthus carvings and on casters. The legs can be unscrewed making this table easier to carry through the home into position.


A superb quality piece of furniture that would suit any home.
