A magnificent Regency rosewood sofa table, English, circa 1810.


Offered in fantastic condition, boasting great colour and superb brass inlay work.


The table top has 2 hinged drop flaps, one either end, these open out and are supported by brass inlaid brackets both back and front.
There is a single frieze drawer at the front, of solid oak dovetailed construction, with a matching dummy drawer on the back so it can be freestanding in a room and is finished all around.


Raised on a tapering concaved rectangular column with decorative carving on each corner.


The base supports 4 outswept legs with brass lions paw cup casters.


This is a really attractive piece as there is a lot of impressive brass inlay on show here, a real eyeful.
