A Royal black lacquered extending gate-leg dining table on casters which converts to a demil une console table designed by Pierre Delbée for Maison Jansen with canon de fusil patinated steel and gilt bronze legs. French circa 1960s.

The table was designed for the French actress Jacqueline Delubac who wanted to host dinner parties in her home but she did not like the idea of having a large table
