Item Details

A superb decorative antique Anglo Indian/Burmese teak low folding screen. Circa 1890.


The screen boasts finely detailed hand carved foliage decoration. Note the impressive deep carving of the panels.


Overall in very good condition, with no damage. There is a very small amount of woodworm to the back as shown in photographs. This appears old, and has been fully treated with a woodworm killer and filled. A very small hairline to the bottom bracket on the left hand side to note.


The screen as shown when in use is 90cm wide.
