Item Details

Victorian 9ct gold hinged pill/snuff box of scalloped form. Hallmarked for Deakin & Francis of Birmingham. 1849.

This superb box is in very good condition considering its 175 years. There is some minor wear consistent with use, and three minute blemishes to the top, which show up more in the photographs than in real life. The lid opens and closes perfectly flush.
