19th century patinated bronze and ormolu highlighted Saint George and the Dragon, set on a purple velvet base and ebonised plinth with bun feet. Cased in a glass cloche. Circa 1860.


A very well executed example of excellent casting, it is set in the original glass cloche on a solid mahogany ebonised plinth.


There are some black spot markings to the inside of the dome, as shown. One of the front bun feet is slightly loose, and rotates. This is very stable when in situ with no issues.
