Item Details

Arts and Crafts figured walnut chest with an unusual arrangement of seven drawers. Original brass poppy-head embossed handles and brass castors. Circa 1900.


An excellent quality chest of drawers which has been sympathetically re-finished by hand in a sealer - not varnish. It has a smooth waxed finish, but still retains a few light authentic marks to highlight its genuine heritage.


Made in solid figured walnut, the sides are veneered in figured walnut. The drawers have solid wood interiors with dovetail construction, they are all in very good working order. There are a few marks to the interior of one top drawer. The handles are stamped C&A for Crofts & Assinder. There is a key that works all of the locks.

Delivery is included in the purchase price for all areas in MAINLAND England & Wales.
This is via a two-person team to a room of your choice with good access.
Delivery usually takes 5-10 working days from receipt of payment (may be a little longer in more remote areas).
There is an additional charge of £12 per floor for delivery via the stairs above the first floor, if there is no lift the item can fit in.
