Elizabeth II sterling silver & rose gold square compact by Garrard And Co. Hallmarked Birmingham, 1956.


A stylish, good quality mid century compact having engine turned decoration, with a rose gold overlay boarder to the top, and a chased unmarked gold thumbpiece. The interior has a bevelled mirror and is gilt lined.


The interior gilt hallmarked and signed 'GARRARD & CO. LTD. 112 REGENT ST. W1' The maker's hallmark shows rubbing.


The compact is in very good condition with no damage, showing some light signs of use, mainly to the top. The lid open and closes very well.
