Item Details

A superb antique bleached carved solid oak hall / centre table with drawer. Circa 1890.


The bleached table has been given a very light wash of matt water-based finish to add depth, and then fine wire wool applied for a smoother finish.


It boasts hand carved decoration throughout, including mythical sea creatures to the feet and green man or foliate lions to the canted corners. The drawer has the original brass tear-drop handle, and the interior is also made of solid oak.


Condition report:


There are a couple of knocks to the bottom part of the drawer and to the freize under the drawer. Please refer to the last three photographs.

This is via a two-person team to a room of your choice with good access.
