Post Modern "Grip" floor lamp by Italian architect and designer Achille Castiglioni (1918-2002) for Flos. Labelled. Circa 1985.
The lamp has a powder coated steel base, rising on an angled black lacquered tubular metal stem, with the lamp head 'microphone' and grip held by a painted brass gyroscope in two tone turquoise and pink.
With Memphis influences, the lamp is in good condition, showing some signs of use as expected.
Ideal as a reading lamp, as the housing is screened and concentrated to provide adequate light without disturbing the whole room.
PAT tested and fully working, with a UK plug.
The cable length is 2 metres.
