English 18th Century Antique ‘Fossil Stone’ Marble Tabe Top


This is an amazing rare English Georgian antique marble fossil stone table top that has a lovely moulded edge to three sides, flat backed and wonderfully hand chiselled on the underside. Featuring fabulous fossils within the marble, a superb colour and in excellent condition. The table top dates to around 1750, but obviously the fossil stone marble itself is millions of years old. Comes with impeccable provenance. A rare chance to purchase a fabulous 18thcentury antique fossil stone marble table top.
