Large 19th Century Primitive Antique Oil Painting


A lovely original English 19th century primitive oil painting on canvas of a Gentleman and his faithful dog in a snowy countryside setting. Very well painted and in excellent condition with no damage. Mounted in the original bird’s eye maple antique frame and inner gilt slip. The chap is wearing lovely period clothes, topped off with a hat and is smoking an old clay pipe. English, a good size and dating to around 1830.
