Large English Regency Antique Painted Pine Fire Surround


A superb, very decorative English country house antique fire surround that dates to around 1820. A good large size with an ample fireplace opening, this antique painted pine fire surround a break fronted mantle with decorative mouldings and to the shaped legs. The frieze features cherubs feeding a brazier with scrolling foliage around and to the central panel, cherubs riding a lion. This Regency antique fire surround is smothered with various architectural mouldings. In super condition, a great eye catching Regency antique architectural feature.
