A very decorative set of four, English 19th century antique solid pine dining chairs. Deep seated and comfortable, they feature blank shields on the horizontal top rails with carved flower motifs; each flower is different. Very good quality, in solid pine that is a super colour. All four are in excellent, strong condition and are an ample size, the seats have moulded front rails and they have carved and chamfered edges. They were originally made for a hallway in a large country house and date to around 1860.
