Item Details

A fine quality set of four Sheraton period dining chairs, constructed in a dense Cuban mahogany. The chairs have a lovely shaped back, a lift out seat, standing on square tapered legs with supporting stretchers.

A comfortable seat. This model was designed and made in Whitehaven by ex Gillows cabinet makers around 1800. They are in good condition. The seats are quite useable, with a seating height of 46cm.
