Oil capturing a peaceful rural landscape, where a tree-lined path leads toward a traditional farmhouse. A cart drawn by two horses moves slowly down the center of the composition, surrounded by flowering vegetation and balanced tree groupings that create a sense of order and calm.
Executed in a clear, luminous palette with fine modulations of green, ochre and blue, the painting reflects the influence of early 20th-century Catalan landscape traditions. The painter uses a mix of controlled linear perspective and looser, impressionistic touches in the foliage, creating both clarity and texture.
The painting is signed “Marià” in the lower left corner, a Catalan male name. While further biographical information has yet to be confirmed, the existence of multiple works points to a consistent, regionally grounded artistic practice.
The carved and gilded wooden frame is in excellent condition, with only minor signs of wear.
