Item Details

A fine pair of cast iron Neo-classical French stools after Val D'osne.

They are elegant and well proportioned and are a very rare regency model.

Shown in the last photo is an extract from the Val D'osne  catalogue showing the design, but as a bench end.

They have been stripped and polished at some point and this has faded nicely back to a softer patina.
