Benjamin Samuel Morse ( born 1854 ) was registered in the 1891 census as a Watch and clock maker at 8 Queens Road, Watford. The business is still at the same address today and run by one of Morse s descendants, though it has been re-named Jacksons Jewellers. This turret dial is made of copper featuring a deep dome with fabulous wear to the original surface and has had a new quartz movement and hands fitted ( not suitable for outdoors ).
