A charming bust, of a gnarly old man, full of character!


This is an antique portrait bust. An English, bronze head, signed by Francis Derwent Wood (1871-1926), dating to the early 20th century.


Francis Derwent Wood Ra was a British sculptor. Elected to the Royal Academy in London in 1920, he also held a position as head of sculpture at the Royal College of Art between 1918 and 1923.
