Exceptional Regency rosewood bookcase, having adjustable leather top with removable book holder above 2 panelled and arched sections and 2 open sections, each with 2 height adjustable shelves, all flanked by fluted columns with finely carved capitals, all standing on brass castors. Bears James Winter & Sons, Wardour Street, Soho, London’ label. The bookcase retains its original finish which has been revived, soft and mellow colour and good patina, all in home ready condition. c1820
