Item Details

Large, wide-framed, decorative antique Italian mirror, circa 1880, with punched and etched decoration and outset corners topped with a superbly carved giltwood cartouche. After many years of cleaning the frame has an unusual mix of colours including silverleaf, two different shades of gold leaf and the terracotta bole. The original glass has medium foxing in the form of freckling and gives a fair reflection.
