Item Details

Antique French margin mirror, circa 1880, with high, decorative, rococo, foliate cartouche. A curled acanthus leaf curves around each corner of the mirror and fanned acanthus leaf decorates the base. The vertical frames are burnished gilt with a delicate acanthus leaf edging and the central glass has a double curve along the top edge and is bevelled. There is a little light age in the glass which gives an excellent reflection.
