Large, antique, French arctop mirror, circa 1850, with wide, gently curving frame, decorated with a lacey border of acanthus leaves along the sight edge, a delicate twisted border along the outside edge with a central burnished etched silverleafed panel decorated with flowers and leaves. The original glass is in good condition with only one area of noticeable age and gives an excellent reflection. This mirror would work well as an overmantel.
