Item Details

Originally from a house in Paris, this very large, Vintage, French, Venetian style mirror, circa 1940, has a verre eglomisee frame consisting of a mixture of a dark grey to silver background with a yellow ochre, scrolling, acanthus leaf design. The mirror frame is held at each corner and at intervals along the frame with an elongated glass leaf which, in turn, is held in place with a little glass flower-topped screw. The central glass has just a little, very light, age and gives an excellent reflection and this mirror can be hung portrait, as photographed, or landscape.
