These cushions are pieced from the border of a vintage Sami quilt. I love the little ditsy floral pattern but it was only on a narrow band around the edge.  Therefore I've joined 4 strips together for the cushions fronts. Because of the small pattern and heavy quilting the joins aren't really noticeable. I've backed the cushions in a vintage handloomed textile in blue with a narrow red pinstripe and added tassels. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.  I think they're lovely.
