Item Details

This framed textile is the 2 embroidered halves of a Turkish Ottoman towel. The embroidery is beautifully done in silks in a lovely soft pallet of natural colours. I think the picture is of planters of pomegranite bushes but i may be wrong. I've mounted the embroidery on antique hemp on a stretched canvas. The back has a hanging wire.
