Item Description
These cushions are made from a vintage handloomed Guatemalan corte (tube skirt) cloth. The skirt has seams lengthwise and cross wise due to the narrow size of the loom. The seams are beautifully disguised with decorative supplementary zig zag stitches. The indigo ground fabric also has decorative bands in pink. There are 4 cushions made, one has 2 bands of zig zag stitching and the other three have only one. The cushions are backed with a hand loomed vintage textile from the Shanghai weaving district in blue with a pink pinstripe, and there are zip fasteners and deluxe feather inserts.
