These cushions are made from a magnificent 1920s Fez embroidery. The embroidery is perfectly executed by hand in thick burgundy coloured cotton on a cotton ground. The textile was bordered with a crochet fringe and I've used this for the ends of the cushions. I've made two long cushions from the textile which are perfect for a king-size or super king-size bed. I've backed the cushions with a vintage hand loomed textile from East China in a dark burgundy check, and there are zip fasteners and feather pads.
