Item Details

This beautiful cushion is made from a panel from the centre of a Dai minority wedding blanket. The blanket was hand loomed and coloured with the mineral dye sienna. I've backed the cushion with another vintage indigo  handloomed textile from the Buyi minority. Ive added hand made tassels and there is a zip fasteners and feather pad. 


These are 2 very special textiles and a wonderful record of a vanishing culture.
